Additional Thoughts:
I had really high (perhaps unrealistic) expectations of these fusion fiber rims. The marketing claims told me they'd be far more compliant and supple than most other wheels. While they ARE more supple than a standard carbon rim, they didn't blow me away and I felt they were a bit overhyped. They are nice wheels, I just think I had unrealistic expectations. I'd say they're maybe 10% softer than a set of LB or Reserve wheels. Overall a very nice wheel, but a bit heavy and ride was good but not the most supple of the test.
Here's where they fell compliance wise in this test:
Nukeproof HZN V2 (least compliant)
Curve Dirt Hoops
Evil Loopholes
Atomik FM30 with Berd Spokes
Spinergy MMX 30
ZIPP 3ZERO Moto (most compliant)
Percieved weight
Atomik FM30 with Berd Spokes (lightest feeling)
Curve Dirt Hoops
Spinergy MMX 30
Evil Loopholes
ZIPP 3ZERO Moto
Nukeproof HZN V2 (heaviest feeling)
